On the flip-side this would set a precedent which would protect women from unwarranted invasive interventions. Fetuses should be guaranteed to be free to choose their own birthdate, have an natural labor and delivery, and be protected from narcotics and surgical deliveries. And hospitals should staff accordingly. Term babies should in short be guaranteed an experienced midwife led delivery with no interventions unless medically necessary. Any interventions in the mother, including psychological injuries like being forced to birth in a certain location, could be detrimental to the long term viability of the term baby, and should be avoided.

There should be a \Take Back the Night\ campaign for birth since the industry is going for the 9-5 schedule.
