Vitamin C for baby's health

Researchers have found that when women are deficient in Vitamin C during pregnancy, there can be serious consequences for their baby's brain. Studies have shown that between 10% and 20% adults suffer from vitamin C deficiency, and recommend that pregnant women should make sure they take adequate daily vitamin supplements.

Good dietary sources of Vitamin C include oranges, tomatoes, red capsicum, broccoli, kiwi fruit, mangoes and strawberries.
